Keano's cracking up

I don't buy into all this "I like the way he speaks his mind", "At least he's honest", blah blah, I think the guy is out of order in attacking some of the Irish lads, especially Given. Shay didn't know McShane was going to let it run, I wouldn't blame him at all. He said the integrity of the game was not damaged by what happened, WTF?! I suppose he thinks it improved the image of the game then. He is obviously still bitter about 2002. He was right about the FAI's incompetence, but to let the whole country down by having a tantrum and getting himself sent home when he was our best player was selfish to say the least. There was clearly something still nagging at him in that interview, I think he is a bit of an attention seeker to be honest. Look at how much coverage this interview got, he must have known it would. Never liked the guy

I'm sure he's devastated! PMSL!!!

It's funny!

A bitter man who is still upset about not receiving a phone call begging him to go back to their squad!

I don't suppose we will ever here anything less than bile from him about Ireland.

He's right.

Either a defender should have headed it clear or Given should have dared to leave his line for the first time in his career and punch a ball away. That's Given's weakness, he never helps the defence by coming out and catching/punching crosses away.

Keane may be a twat but he's spot on in this case.
