As far as im aware he is. I think the previous tallest was Kostas Chalkias who was 6'6" and played 9 games for Portsmouth.
The tallest keeper in the world is Kristof van Hout who plays for Standard Liege and is an impressive 6'10".

Isaksonn was at least 6'6", and I don't think Pantilimon has ever played in the prem, and isn't planned to any time soon.

Isaksson is also 6'6" so is smaller than Peter Crouch who is 6'7".

I think the lad was talking about it being a Premier League record. The fact he is signed to a Premier League team now makes it that whether he plays or not.
