I wonder why they have taken it off the site? Possibly just to reprint it but one of the papers say we are waiting for a work permit, so it could be that.
 
played well against us twice last season.

As far as im aware he is. I think the previous tallest was Kostas Chalkias who was 6'6" and played 9 games for Portsmouth.

The tallest keeper in the world is Kristof van Hout who plays for Standard Liege and is an impressive 6'10".

Isaksonn was at least 6'6", and I don't think Pantilimon has ever played in the prem, and isn't planned to any time soon.

I think the lad was talking about it being a Premier League record. The fact he is signed to a Premier League team now makes it that whether he plays or not.

Isaksson is 6'6" and Kostas Chalkias is also 6'6" but played for Portsmouth the season before Isaksson started playing for us.

He's on loan.

"Costel Pantilimon has been confirmed as City’s fourth signing of the summer after a work permit was granted. He is on loan for 12 months.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper joins from Poli Timisoara and along with Stuart Taylor will act as cover for Joe Hart following the departure of Shay Given to Aston Villa.

Pantilimon played twice against City last season in the Europa League and is a full international, having represented Romania at every level.

He won his first senior cap in 2008 and reportedly attracted interest from Arsenal and Inter Milan, before signing for City. Watch his exclusive interview."
