Quite a conservative speed in a top of the range Merc that he will have being a below average/sh*t footballer.
I've done over the 130 limit in my 2.0 ltr Mondeo on many occasions. Seems to manage to get up to 135 or maybe my speedometer needs re-calibrating.
The 70 mph limit on motorways is well out-dated.
