It's quite disparaging to insinuate that she is expressing support for her husband at this very difficult time for financial reasons. Regardless of what he has done he is still her husband. They have been married for 20 odd years. She has 2 kids by him. People make mistakes in their lives but that doesn't necessarily mean that there is no course of action open to her other than that she should walk out on their marriage. He's human, he's made a mistake and if she can find a way to work through it for the sake of their future and their kids, she should. The cost of her walking out on him would be catastrophic, not just for him but for their children. It's very easy to make Billy Big Bollox remarks when the consequences don't affect you directly, it's quite another story when it's your future that is dependent on the decisions you are about to make.

Maybe the reason she is standing by him is due to the fact that previoulsy she colluded with him to hide valuable information regarding his corruption. As the saying goes 'She knows where the bodies are buried'.
The main reason it would be catastrophic is she would lose a valuable income stream.
What is noticable is how quiet it has all gone. One of the main allegations was the fact that the prostitutes were paid from his charity. That needs investigating by the Charity commission but as usual it will all quietly be forgotten. If he is misusing money donated to a charity he should be exposed and dealt with.

When I first heard he'd been in a Sunday Mirror expose, I assumed it was of this nature.He's known in some circles as Paedo Vaz.
I have no idea why.
Just my assumption, of course. Cos...allegedly...etc...for any lawyers reading.
