His style reminds me of Ian Rush. Not flashy, just appears in the right spot at the right time. If he gets as many goals, he'll do for me. He might even get us some 'istry in the process ;-)
anyone know this kid's shots to goal ratio? it seems he shoots very little for a player of his position but when he does it counts.
If he had gone to Porto like his Dad told him to in 2014, he'd already have a £75m price tag and be talked about as the best striking prospect in world football.
If he gets good enough though, Pep will find a way to play them together. He's already said that he can play out wide or behind the striker after the Steua game IIRC - I think he knows Pep will find a way to play them if the both warrant starting.
The positive to take out of any early departure is that for once we are likely to get a big pay day for a player leaving. There will be no cheapo loan deals to Italians for this lad as he is likely to command 30 or 40 million in the current market.I hope he waits a few years and doesn't start aching to be a starter before his time at City. Sure there's plenty of games to go around for all, but I just get the sense that he's one day going to want to be the undisputed starter somewhere. I just hope it's with us.
Rashford: 1827 mins, 9 goals, 2 assistsHow do those stats stand up in comparison to other players mate ?
It's unbelievable that we kept him out of the squad for Bony.
I remember after he scored against Spurs in the league he hardly played for the next two months. Sheer lunacy.
Hardly the same is it? He will play 90 against Bournemouth. Why would he tire him out when he has to lead the line whilst Aguero is banned? Got a few minutes into his legs for Saturday whilst inproving his already sky high confidence. It was especially mad when he wasn't getting minutes in dead rubbers, cup games or when scorelines were like 3:0 - 4:0 up. Guardiola however seems to be doing the same - Iheanacho is being introduced for 5-10 minutes, instead of 15-20.

Not true. He came on in the next game against Liverpool for 35 mins, he also came on as a sub in the two games following that.
To play Bony instead of him was the stuff of pure madness.
396 minutes to manyFrom that Spurs game until the end of the season Kelechi played a total of 478 minutes, in the same time frame Bony played 396 minutes
I think Kelechi must be a regular starter, the coach should find a way for that. He will reach his potential if and only if he plays regularly. Aguero has ability to play as a shadow striker behind the forward. So I think despite that there are really some exciting players, Kelechi deserves to be a regular starter after what he achieved so far.
