He's miles ahead of where kun was at 20 in relation to scoring goals.... His problem is indeed youth, however, when the penny drops about positioning, he'll be invaluable.

Pep has reinforced a few times regarding less is more for Kun, the same applies to Kelechi... Put it this way, if his goals to game ratio is any sort of barometer, he might end up half decent (:
You're not wrong. His goals to 90 min ratio is ahead of anyone at 20 years of age.

This is actually a very good point. Potentially we could line up like this:

Bravo
Stones Otamendi Kolarov
Navas Fernandinho Gundogan Sterling
KDB
Iheanacho Aguero.

So you'd sacrifice silva for navas, interesting.... I'm of the opinion he's slowing down but that's just ridiculous.... Sane on the other hand will creates the natural width

With regards to the system, I like it, if not suitable to the players you've picked

..................bravo.......................

.......Ota.......stones.........Kolorov.......

.............fern...........gun............

Sterling...........silva...............sane

....................KDB......................

...................Aguero...................

Take your point entirely mate but it's all about balance. I think Navas would provide far more than Sane at this point. Either way we've a plethora of options.

take kolorv out of that and put anyone else there and Id agree with that....Imagine a fully firing Kompany (with no injury doubts) in there as well.......shame that might never happen.

Could argue Sane over Nolito at points

There are five key things of note in the second goal

rfmbBCq.gif

1) Onazi's long ball to launch the attack
2) Nacho's run alongside Ideye....notice he actually runs from deep and goes past Ideye
3) but the Zambian line stiffles the attack..so Ideye holds up the play...and allows Simon to retreat
4) Then this is where Mikel takes over...the give and go with Nacho takes one defender out of the equation...but notice that this is not possible if Nacho does not return from his advanced position
5) This is individual brilliance here...because while Mikel then lays off the ball to Ideye....this time around the defenders stand their ground, although they remain static. Nacho takes advantage of this.....takes the ball to the by line and wriggles it through

Similar to the first goal, the Zambians show some defensive naivety....but the off the ball movement is what helps us as well. This time around it is Nacho's off the ball movement that is really noticeable.

Anyone think he might play today? Pep seemed to be talking about how hard a week Aguero has had mentally and physically in his pressed yesterday.

I really like the lad, he has heart, desire, pace and gives his all. Really would like to see some more composure on the ball occasionally. He has the potential be a 'legend' with us.

He gave possession away which resulted in Everton breaking on us and Guardiola immediately made the sub. Personally I'd have kept him on and played him with aguero but in pep we trust.
