Kelechi Iheanacho

Just hope Pellegrini doesn't fuck it up by not giving him a chance.

Pellegrini left at half time today missing both of his goals. Lol.

He basically did the minimum, show his face but in reality he isn't interested one bit. This kid should be in the first team squad next season even if he were to get 10 games in all comps.

That's prob because he won't get the credit for kelechi, pep will!
It would be great if next season he got 10 first team games and on top of that he would play for the under 21's and under 19 champs league.

I feel sorry for the lad, he is clearly desperate for his debut.

Manuel should be playing him tomorrow and if these lads can't even get a game when it's a complete dead rubber then who knows when they will.

Determined to make his debut and undeterred, Iheanacho again shone for the Under-21s on Saturday, turning the game around for the Blues in their derby with two excellent goals.

And he is willing to delay joining up with the Nigerian team if Pellegrini gives him a shot against Saints.

"I don't know [if i'll be involved]," he told M.E.N Sport. "I play for City. If they tell me to come and play for the first team I will come and play. I'll change my flight."

His goals against United came after the break as City came from behind to claim a 3-1 victory. After the game he gave thanks to coach Patrick Vieira for an important team-talk.

"In the first half I was so nervous to play and I lost many balls," he said.

"It was a big game against United, my first game against them.

"But when I went in the dressing room at half-time the coach told me to work harder and be stronger, forget everything and concentrate. So in the second half it was a lot better."

Sound like a sponge ready to learn everything. He should be on the bench at least if Prllegrini is staying. But if Pellegrini is not going to be around then the experience wouldn't be as beneficial.
