Kelechi Iheanacho

He is playing extremely well, considering his injury this season. he is very quick and tricky with some nice touches. He reminds me of a young Laurie Cunningham who sadly I think got killed in a car crash quite young.Hope he is included in our first team squad and comes unscathed through the tournament in new Zealand.

Nigeria media reporting Iheanacho got drop to the bench along with the two goal scorers against Brazil (Success and Yahaya). All the foreign based players were dropped. I was critical of their playing style in the last game. And iheanacho is a defensive liability not sure why they played him in the midfield instead of as one of the forward. pic of their formation that got exposed against Brazil:

FFS the lad can't even make the starting lineup of the U20 Nigeria team yet most on here reckon he's fit for the first team...

Maybe Pellegrini had the right idea about our "youth" prospects, I reckon a few on here owe him an apology. **cough** Damo **cough**

;) - or maybe people shouldn't jump to conclusions without knowing the full story...

Christ. One player doesn't play one game so he's shit and everyone is wrong and we all owe Pellegrini an apology. Ffs, get a grip. There's no point to sweeping, melodramatic over-simplifications like that. Iheanacho IS class and this doesn't change anything.
