Kelechi Iheanacho

saying "YES I AM" . doesn't make it true if the real answer was FALSE...
anyway,am not a plastic fan. am a part of CITY.

The real answer is you are not a City fan and you are not very clever at hiding the fact either.......

hi m8y, better to be nice whilst you find your feet here

our club is like a broken vehicle dat needs lots of repairs to get it on point again..i must admit,a lot of work needs to be done..& i can only hope pep understands the magnitude of the problems were facing..and how to handle them

I really dont things are that bad, it was a season of bad management imo. We still got a premier winning team. Imagine our rivals having the player we have, we would be scared

Real answer is, he might be a fairly new fan, he's just not sure of how to properly introduce himself to the fold....being cocky is a defense mechanism.

Lots of Nigerians became City fans this season cuz of Kelechi, must be one of them. Name seems Nigerian

Lol...I joined this forum last year. I'm not a regular poster, I just read posts mostly.

No, not same person, but I am Nigerian and Kelechi brought me here as well, i'm guessing same applied to obierika. He just has an odd way of showing his support is all, the whole line about Iheanacho being sold is just in case he isn't made proper use of in City.

I understand his views, it's why i'm speaking for him

What's your view on Kelechi's season, Safarigirl?
I think it's been great, I mean, when you compare where he's at now to where his peers are, there's a glaring distinction.

3 years ago, it was him, Berisha, Mosquito, Ochoa, Kennedy and Awoniyi making headlines at the U17 WC in UAE...today, it's arguably, just him. Not much has been heard concerning the others and while I understand that in some cases eg Ochoa's, it's mostly cuz of Latin America's tradition of training homegrown talent before shipping them off, the rest of them don't have that excuse.

He's been given the sort of chance in City that his compatriot, Awoniyi hasn't gotten in Liverpool and he's taken it.

And yes, while a lot of Nigerians are still miffed that City ruined our perfectly good number 10 and converted him to a striker, at least the club has proved most of us wrong by playing him. Many Nigerians predicted the death of Iheanacho's career in City because you guys don't have the reputation of promoting youth.

So, I suppose I speak both for myself and lots of Nigerians when I say, Kelechi has had an awesome first season and it's thanks to Pellegrinni, the management staff of the club as well as supportive fans willing to trash the likes of Rashford, Martial, Origi and anyone else that could contend with their own mini-Messi for the future ballon d'or.

I know this reads like some weird "Thank You" speech, but it is. From Nigerians to all City fans, we say thank you for giving Kelechi a rare chance and hopefully, he continues to impress next season.

I'm sure he will, SG. You'll have noticed there are plenty of Bluemooners backing him for a great career.

Thanks for that. It's interesting to get a perspective from an overseas player's home land.
