I think Pep made the call, that he is not the player for our system. Leicester have a different style, so he suits them far better.
I found some older articles where Rodgers was saying he thought it expired at the end of next season, but I also found this which says it has already expired. I'm not sure how good of a source it is, but they make it sound pretty matter of fact.Think it's good until end of next season. 50m though - not sure he's worth that
