Kemi Badenoch - Elected Tory Leader

It's good now the lefties have a black woman to hate on after years of the alt-right piling on Diane Abbott.
It's not a great look really is it? Mind, tbh I'm personally so woke I don't see people in terms of colour so didn't realise until someone else pointed it out.

Not great, the entire party are a shambles - and there is nothing wrong with saying so BTW. I don't see much more talent on the Tory benches now though. Rory Stewart would have been good but the Boris years caused him and other moderates to walk away.

That's not an argument though is it, just a bit of a lame insult. The language used against badenoch personally in this thread is very like that in the Abbott thread in terms of it being personal rather than policy based.
Tbf it may be misogyny rather than racism I suppose.

I’ve not noticed it, I’ve seen pretty much the same sort of stick for her as Sunak, Boris and pretty much every former spineless Tory leader has got lately, the fact she and her party are choosing to play the ‘anti woke’ Farage card shows how desperate they are - but yeh, skin colour if that’s your take.

unless they ditch her and DON'T replace her with Jenrick they will be lucky to have MP's in double figures after the next GE. She can move onto Reform's land if she wants to but if the voters they lost to Reform are ok with Reform why go for a Reform Lite option that is Tory?
