A host of former City stars will roll back the years to honour the late Ken Barnes in a charity match at Ewen Fields ground, which will take place on Saturday, 21 May at 3.00pm.

Admission will be £5 for adults and £3 for children, with all proceeds going to the Stroke Society Fund. Tickets are available to purchase beforehand through City Store and also available on the gate. The Mercian Regiment will also be playing a game at half time.

So what if it was posted last week. It's all for a good cause and the more people who see it the better. Let's get a good crowd down there see some former players and raise some money for the charity.

Agh right, well the story was only on their website this morning, hardly a crime trying to promote a charity game to raise money for a club legend, go fuck yourself.
