Kenyon Or Cook?

I guess the general perception of Kenyon is a negative one but he has an exemplary track record as a chief exec of football clubs.

Are you not aware that everyone on here knows exactly what Cook and Kenyon do and are therefore in a position to appraise Cheif Execs.

We feel Kenyon has over promised and under delivered and his time keeping isnt up to much

It would make sence to draft Kenyon in at this point of our development, freeing Cook to market us in the middle east and Africa. With Kenyons connections in europe and the fact that Cookie trod on some well connected toes,Kenyon knows how the tossers at uefa snide around and would know how to bend a rule or two.It would also bring us nearer getting the top jelly player our glorious owners covert.

Whats the point in a message board if you can't discuss things like this.

We may not know what each of them do day in, day out but we've certainly seen enough of both to have an opinion whether we want them at the club or not.

Of course you are right, this is a message board and anything can be discussed.

I doubt that anyone is actually qualified to assess them though because most if not all of their work goes on behind the scenes.

An example of this would be say, if someone said to you Blackburns MD is the best in the league, now i don't know who this is, and i don't know if he is doing a good or bad job, but people on here would say because they aren't in the top 4 and havent signed Messi that he mustnt be that good

His decision to leave Man Utd is even more of a surprise as he is a self-confessed United fan.

Born in the Greater Manchester area, Kenyon, who was a decent amateur player, watched United lift the European Cup at Wembley in 1968.

I dont want this snake near city

Actually, I'd say you're totally wrong. YOU may not know or understand what Chief Executive's role is. I certainly do. And based on what I've seen of Garry Cook, and what I've seen of Peter Kenyon, I know I'd much rather have Cook...

If you would like to know what the day to day role is of a Chief Exec send me a PM, and when I have time, I'll fill you in...

Garry Cook for me, at least he gives a shit about the club!! That muppet Kenyon is a clueless parasite who feathers his own nest & has got no commitment to any club & certainly doesn't support anyone within it apart from the man at the top with the cash! If he got in we'd have more managers in a season than you could shake a stick at & the club would end up with the same fragile basis as Chelski now!! Don't even consider Kenyon to jump on the band wagon, look what he said about City a few weeks ago over the Terry business & the stealing of Sturridge! We don't need scum like him! I'm quite happy with the board & managers that we have, they've pulled together as a unit against all the doubters & put us at the top of the table, why change that for some 'GLORY SEEKER'?

Kenyon is a twat. Compare his previous two club's relationships with the fans to our growing relationship under Cook.

Our owners and GC haven't forgotten about us and keep making things better for us. Kenyon is all about money and couldn't give a toss about fans. I know people will say Cook is a good user of PR and he is all about the money but he doesn't come across as a complete knob so he's alright by me.

Yeah go on, i'll have a run down of the day to day activities of a football clubs Chief Exec. Thanks.

And then where you think Cook has outperformed Kenyon.

Will be an interesting read.
