not cutting it as a replacement for silva.....he has many great attributes but when we eventually lose silva due to age (few years yet hopefully) replacing Dave is going to be very very difficult (though a couple of the young lads look like they could give it a go)

Post of the week. All he needs are runners coupled with two aggressive fullbacks who can overlap with pace.

I agree. yesterday, our front line was so static, they offered very little options for a decisive through ball.

I see ILky as a bit of a better Ferna (he will score goals) - I don't see him yet as a player who can open up defences and control a game the way Silva does (but maybe he can become that)

Ive said it before a few weeks ago...KDB has failed to step up when silva isn't in there and I think he struggles in Peps system

The guy is a world class player but Im not sure he fits where Pep wants to go and i don't think he is good enough to take over that central position when silva isn't there (he looks a lot better playing alongside when silva is there)

I wouldn't want him to leave but at the same time he needs to step it up big time as (despite his amount of assists) this season there have been a lot of games where he just doesn't influence the game enough at all
