Coming back from a long layoff, played away in Europe midweek, and Chelsea parked the bus. I'm not worried. He'll be back to his best soon enough.

I thought he showed some good signs first half. Dropped a bit deeper and started to get on the ball. Was poor 2nd half though along with David Silva who had another poor game.

I agree, seems to be unable to run away from a player. It will come right.

Disagree. On Sunday he seemed to have got that part of his game back. There were several instances where he turned and got away. It was what came next that was the problem. He's off form and is trying too hard and putting too much power into his crossing and long passing. His decision making is a bit off key as well, which is what's most surprising.

He'll come good though. I'm not worried about that.

The good thing is that he's still getting on the ball a lot and trying those surges from midfield. Its just not working right now but that'll change.

He still has his speed of thought and willing to put in the first time pass, just as others have said, his touch just needs calibrating.
