Arsenal away for some reason.
His cross took a deflection I think was the reasoning.
Anybody else a little bit worried about how much effort Kev put into the Leicester and West Ham games ? He was making his usual lung bursting runs deep into the 2nd half in both matches. He’s a naturally fit lad but if he plays at Madrid and Wembley we could be in danger of overloading him.
Should have been off earlier against West Ham, I would have taken him off against Leicester also but Pep wanted to win and with KDB on the pitch you have the best chance to do that.
I also get the impression that he wants to put this team on his back and carry us this season.
Totally agree about subbing him earlier and about him going all out to help carry us. He’s definitely become more of a leader this season, he’s screaming at team mates and he’s getting hold of the game more in all areas of the pitch. I just hope his body holds out
I love KDB he is our most important player for the future. 100% effort, superb talent, and such a nice guy, setting a brilliant example. As others have said, we have to hope he stays fit. He is at risk of picking up a muscle injury the huge exertions he makes every game.
My first born will be named Kevin. Won't matter if it's a she or a he.
He did fancy taking that pen. Balls of steel
