He could do and see things nobody else did in the Premier League.

It's the right time to bow out, all I hope is it's all his choice to leave and not the club's

At this club, in this league, anywhere.

Players come and go, it's part of football, I think the writing has been on the wall for a little while but it doesn't sting any less but it's understandable.

Hopefully goes out holding a trophy high this season
 
I don’t normally think this but we should retire his number. He’s been the best premier league midfielder of all time. A statue isn’t enough to express how gifted he is as a player and what he’s given to our club in his ten years here.
 
Tough to accept, but it‘s the right call.
Hard to pick between him and Silva, but I think the success we‘ve had in the past few years, and his role in it, just puts him over as our greatest player in the modern era.

Statues have been done now. No other player after those three should get one. Maybe they don’t win as much as KDB has, but they were the catalyst and deserve their recognition in that way.

Retiring his shirt number is very appointed I’d say.

I think somewhere in the middle would have been good.
Do another season if he wanted, but on a reduced role/salary.
Clearly, it is not for him. I wonder if he is retiring or going somewhere else?

Massive, massive player for us. In the legends of the club for sure.
 
Having been very fortunate to watch the "True King" (Colin Bell), KDB has amply taken over his mantel and what an absolute legend he has become. We have seen many wonderful PL Players from various clubs but KDB without doubt has been in the top five players IMO.
Without doubt he was/is the nearest thing I have seen to King Colin.
KDB you deserve a statue and thanks for all the wonderful memories you have given to us over this past decade.
 
I’ve been watching City since the early 90’s and always thought David Silva was the best but as the years went on this guy was the real deal. His stats don’t lie I hope the club gives him a proper send off he deserves.
 
Like everything else that Kev did, it is with perfect timing. The same as his passing, free kicks and shots on goal. It is a sad time but as he said himself it comes to everyone.
You took City to your heart and you are forever in ours.
What he has contributed to this club ranks alongside David, Sergio and the player he resembles most, the King, Colin Bell. In other words, right at the pinnacle.
It is a given that he will receive an unbelievable last few matches from the fans and he deserves everything. Thanks for everything Kev, may you and your family enjoy good health and happiness in the future.

For some reason the goal that always sticks in my head is the goal at Stamford Bridge a few years ago, no idea why just sheer quality in the whole move

Only won stuff because of other players...............fuck.

Best ever blue? Hard to argue against.
