Forever grateful this unbelievably gifted man played for our club.

It’s the correct decision, and the timing of it means we can give him a proper send-off.

Best player I've seen in a City shirt, and I've seen Bell, Lee & Summerbee in their prime. KDB could do it all. Bell's running and passing, Lee's rocket of a shot from distance, Buzzer's physical side and tenacity, plus his crossing.

In some ways it probably helps ease the parting having seen his decline over the last two seasons. We've got used to playing without him but he will be sorely missed.

Legend of the club , well done KDB , appropriate time and appropriate means to call an end on his blue moon chapter.

All the best to KDB and his family in the States.

As Bob Hope always sang Thanks For the Memories my good man.

Colin Bell - Stats and titles won
Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City believe Florian Wirtz ...

Kevin, you will forever be a hero to me.

A huge thank you for your dedication in bringing us so many trophies.

Devastated. The undisputed goat of players I've seen in blue. Thanks for the memories Kevin. Truly been a privilege watching you play. X

Very true

There was a scenario where a decision hadn't been made by the end of the season and he then quietly disappeared to the States

Now it gives the club a huge motive to go on and win the FA Cup and the last thing the king ever does in a city shirt is lift the trophy

I said my painful good bye at the end of 22/23, that's when I thought we lost real Kev, the most complete player in the history of the PL. His deterioration as a top top layer was astonishingly fast and gut wrenching to watch. Rudiger started it, being one-man band for Belgium in his last twenties had a huge impact and age and ginger genes brought it to its end. Time to start archiving all those youtube clips. Screamers against the assholes on Sunday and hopefully in the FA cup final will cement him as the best ever City player. So long Kev, go on and talk as much as you can son!

Legend, king, gave everything every time he step foot on the pitch. So sad to see him go. Changed our club forever, will be missed and how could he be replaced.

The Blue half of Manchester is wandering around right now like an offside goal looking for a friendly linesman..

I count myself blessed to have seen Colin Bell, David Silva and Yaya Toure playing this glorious game throughout their careers with us. Three of the greatest midfielders to grace the English game.

And Kevin De Bruyne is every bit their equal. What a player, what a humble, kind young man. I hope we give him the best send off ever.. and that it will include KdB lifting the FA Cup at Wembley in May..
