If true, City have only got themselves to blame. If it’s true?

And if it’s true, anyone with half a brain could see that coming.

But not City.

Let’s see what happens in the coming days.

Not surprised the dippers want him.

Wouldn’t surprise me if KDB goes there either. He gets grumpy and has the hump when does. He feels scorned by City and might just think fuck it, my family are settled here, I’ll go and play 35 games and challenge for titles.

It looks like when Rodri finally comes back into the team, he'll have a completely new set of team-mates in that midfield, compared with his previous game !

We don't really have a say in where he goes, you can tell he feels a bit offended by how the non-renewal has gone. You get the feeling he thinks he still has enough to give in a top league, who else can afford him? PSG maybe?

Please, please, please, please, please no.

If he goes there I’d happily lead the boos when he comes back to the etihad.

They bricked the bus with him on, they threw coins at Pep, they were part of the witch hunt against us trying to diminish KDBs successes at city.
The dippers are scum and surely he’s too smart to join them.

It would be like the ex you still have feelings for fucking someone you can’t stand.

If title challenging teams in our own league are offering him a contract is it time to admit we made a mistake letting him go?

No.

KdB has as many goal involvements this season as Nunes who plays 40 yards deeper than him.

We need younger and fitter players to get back to where we were. Paying someone 350k, much more than Rodri, to play 30 games is pointless.

Who said he would be on 350k a week if he stays?

KDB could join any club after City and i would never hate him he’s the greatest I’ve ever seen at the club and that’s bigger than him joining some rival at the backend of his career

Well we don’t know what they’re offering him.
Kev has enough money and knows he can pick up a pay check in 12 months time in Saudi or the US.
From what he’s been saying to me it looks like he would take a substantial pay cut to stay in Europe.

I don’t understand how we announced he’s not getting a new contract, then played almost every minute of every game since then.
I don’t get how we deem him not good enough if he’s playing regularly.

Because the team he's playing every minute in won't be the team we have next season

Apart from playing for the team he supported as a kid, if true, he doesn’t have to up root his family, he can stay where he is currently living, he’s playing for the champions, and he’ll be playing in the CL. Unfortunately it’s the perfect move for him. :-(

If he doesn’t have the legs, why is he using him for the high press and having him sprint around aimlessly?

It’s like taking a fucking Rolls Royce to a track day and complaining about it costing $4,000 in tires and still not being as agile as your WRX!!

His game is distribution, yet we are currently playing him as a striker/second striker.

“World’s best assister, and one of the greatest players to ever grace the Premier League, being flogged to death in the high press! Inability to affect games in same way leads Pep to declare him too old!”

If I was the slightest bit conspiratorial, I’d suggest Pep plays him there to make him look old and tired by 80 mins, and sub him off every game, but I’m sure Pep would never manipulate a player like that, right???

We've also seen an upturn in his performances when he actually has some 'legs' around him. Difficult for anybody to look great when they have the ball (with his intent on wanting to hurt the opposition) and yet he turns around and the likes of Gundog, Kova and Bernardo are wading in treacle.

Hate the thought of him playing a more tailored role for the dippers and threading balls through for the likes of Salad, Diaz etc. Might actually put enough on a plate for Nunez to start bagging.

Pep obviously still sees him as a must pick when fit but the board only have one thing on their minds. £££££

I think the likelyhood of this happening is to the lower end tbh. I can imagine he realises what this would mean to us Blues. He’ll likely remember those bin dippers thrashing our bus, attempting to injure him and his teammates. He has a lot of other opportunities it seems (Chicago, Napoli, etc.). I really, really hope he doesn’t take it.

With our recent transfers do you trust us to get it right? We could sign 5 duds and wish we had KDB still.

He’s had injuries which have taken there toll on him, he’s not able to get around the pitch like he used to.
But for me it’s worth offering £70k a week to see if he wants to stay as he’ll be handy off the bench and starting the odd game.
Tbf I don’t know if that option was explored.

But that’s just my opinion.

Bitter pill to swallow if he ends up at this shit hole.

Footballer’s genuinely have no loyalty. City have made clear their position. So it’s us fans taking it up the …again.

Lovely way to finish a crap season, if true.
