Can only wish him and his family all the very best and thank him for a decade of dreams and memories that can never be eclipsed.

I feel like it’s written in the stars that he will play against us in the Champions League and score against us, but not celebrate…and I’d be fine with that, as long as we don’t lose the game!!

No player is bigger than the club, but some players MAKE the club what it is, or has been. The statued ones are clearly world class players all, but KDB might be the best of the best.

I said elsewhere, I saw Colin play and cried when he came on as a sub after his injury, but imho, Kev is better and I think Colin is humble enough to agree.

I’m not sure we will ever see a better threader of the ball in our lifetimes, and sometimes you had to wonder if he really saw the pass, the space, or he just hit it in hope, because, on occasion, it literally looked impossible.

Your teammates may not have let you speak, but your ability said everything you ever needed to say to anyone about anything related to football.

A King amongst Kings.

A lesson to be learned when extending contracts in the future.
No matter where else he goes and how well he does, we got the best out of him. He is beyond compare and it beggars belief that he missed 142 games. Heaven knows how many more goals and assists he would have added.

I don't like to compare players because everyone has brought something to our success and are all legends in their own right. Kevin for me just edges it as the best I've seen in my lifetime and I saw Colin Bell play.

I'm gonna respectively disagree with you here (although it's probably not the place). IMO, Sergio is our greatest ever player.
Thanks, we're here to exchange opinions.

Both are club legends, enormous in size, but De Bruyne simply has the numbers on his side.

6 leagues against Kun's 5
And one that makes a star above all stars. The 2023 Champions League.

I'm an owd sod and get sentimental sometimes, especially when drinks been taken.
Colin was my boyhood hero, then along came David, but Kevin has always been my favourite, all three of them
utter Gents,no true football fan would deny that , and all three City legends.

My favourite Kevin moment,we were pressing like mad for the opener and getting frustrated, then he did this, made it happen, still to this day gets me everytime I see his one sightedness to break through.

Stunning.

The angle from high up behind Eddie's goal always makes me smile. The rest of the team taking off in pursuit of the daywalker.

Kun is the man for me, for he is the man that scored the winning goal that changed our fortunes forever.

That we’re even debating it, suggests it’s too close to call and they’ll both be held in the highest esteem in this clubs history.

I was of the opinion we should have let him go a year ago, injuries had taken their toll, and he was already showing that his best days were behind him.

I'm glad we didn't, though he's not had a great season for me, but he still showed glimpses of what he was 3 or 4 years ago, and it was a pleasure every time he did it.

Thanks Kev, but for your own sake, give up the corners, wherever you end up.

Dunno where to put this but I can’t possibly comprehend how I’ve just seen Bournemouth fans saying his send off has been over the top.
They will never have a player like him!!
If anything his send off has been underwhelming!! He deserves so much more in his final season. All he has done for the club and some Bournemouth fans were sitting there on Tuesday saying, “He wasn’t that good” probably just some twats who’ve never watched football before!!

What a mealy mouthed response. Put some respect on his name.

Just not enough camera angles - I need more!!!
