I’m glad we left Maine Road playing Kevin Keegan football. The first time I’d ever seen City properly batter teams. I have a lot of love for that man, all he wanted to do was send the fans home happy. Fight that fight Kev!

Turned up unannounced at a P&W meeting with John Wardle when some shit or other was going on and it would have been really easy not too, especially as we were a right bunch of not rights at the time:)

KK totally disarmed everyone that night and I have never forgotten just saying hello and him asking how I was!

KK gave us hope and a reason to dream. That pairing of Bernarbia and Berkovic was sensational man management. I truly believed that we'd have a real chance of winning some silverware under Kev, alas it was not to be, although the football was breathtaking at times.
Sat next to him at a sportsmans dinner about 7 years ago and his knowledge of every City game I asked him about was incredible. After his piece on stage he stuck around and chatted to everyone until about 2 in the morning.....top guy.
Find the strength to beat this one please KK.

Very sad to hear, like many of us always had a soft spot for KK, we played some exciting football under him and made some big signings. He was manager when I first started going home and away with my mates as a lad so have a lot of nostalgia for him. Hope he pulls through.
