That's the thing with super rich people who get accused of this kind of shit. (Michael Jackson comes to mind)
We never know if they are guilty of anything. Is someone cashing in with accusations hoping for an out of court settlement ? OR is personX guilty but because he/she can afford the very best lawyers they get away with it.
Also rich people can buy witnesses off.

None of us know the truth about Spacey so we shouldn't really speculate.
And I never trust pub rumours.

I trust the rumours Bill because I happen to know some people who ran across him, but I respect your point of view because you don’t know them and how could you. And I understand some of the views on here are sincere, whereas others are just on the wind-up. I have nothing further to say on Spacey other than I believe him to be a bit of a **** but understand others may not. I loved him in Baby Driver and K-pax but that doesn’t change my opinion of him.

I tried to explain in my post. Not “rumours” as such, but information that was consistent and pre-dated his charges and subsequent trial/acquittal. I’ve never met him even briefly. If we were all were bounded by absolute personal experiences or encounters we’d only have opinions or views on very little in this world. I don’t like the rich and powerful taking liberties and see it as exploitative behaviour, others clearly think it’s okay and just part of life. I believed what people I knew actually said and have no reason to think they would lie - but others don’t know them so will naturally see things differently. That’s perfectly understandable and fine by me.
As we all know, internet and social media can be a bit of a strange place at times. I’ve said my piece on Spacey, explained it’s reasoning and will leave it at that. I don’t expect people with dissimilar perspectives to see things the same way - which is okay by me and I’ve no issue with them disagreeing.

Fair enough mate. I'm not doubting your mates. I'm just saying we (the general public) simply don't know the truth.
If Spacey was picking up lads in the pub presumably they were of age so legally he wasn't breaking any laws.
We'll never know the truth about what he did or didn't do.
