Key 103 new breakfast show heartless game - City get involved

Now to clarify I don't normally listen to key 103 but it's on at the place I am currently works more of a 6music fan meself.

Anyway the breakfast show has this new game called heartless where someine will call in and give a reason why they should win the days prize and people can call in and steal it within 30 sec of it being open to steal or people can call in to block callers so the original person wins it.

So this morning a guy has called and told his story uncle died, wifes had 2 life changing operations, tough year. anyway he was given the prize of a premium box for a city game next year. So someome steal it because her sisters fella had been really good this year supporting her and looking after their baby.
So it's all gone a bit abusive of this woman in a morning breakfast way.

City have just called and offered the original bloke another box and a signed shirt so fair play to them.

But my main point is what kind of society are we in where this game is even on?? basically who can be a bit twattish to someone who's had an hard time because I want it more

people can be selfish and I somewhat doubt that true happiness can come from material gains.
These people could be sat in their exec box next season and still unhappy due to their past trauma.

I'd feel much more rewarded and happier for offering the box to others than using it for myself.

Fair play to city for offering another box but unhappy people are selfish and greedy.... Society breeds unhappiness

Manchester's commercial stations went south as soon as Emap took over in the 2000s and imposed their horrendous identikit template all over it.

Key103 was always aimed at hairdressers but 1152 used to be superbly characterful. I had close family very high up in the station at the time it was bought out and the manner in which its heart was torn out was an absolute disgrace.
