1. Picking Heskey or Defoe instead of Crouch
2. Not playing Dawson alongside Terry
3. Not taking a wild card like AJ who apparently was superb in training with the England team
4. Darren Bent

i agree with the first 3, we needed a player in form at the back, dawson, we needed 2 strikers who score goals, heskey never has!

and AJ had to be there after his performances in the 5 months leading up to the tournament

however i doubt if bent was there he would have gotten any game time

1. Playing Steven Gerrard on the left to accomodate Lampard (Cole got royally fucked over today because Gerrard kept coing inside and consequently unable to support cole - look at how Bellamy supports Bridge)
2. Heskey - why the fook did he take him
3. Double standards - Capello quote - "I will take players who are in form - well where the fuck was Dawson and Hart.
4, Taking Lennon or SWP instead of Adam J
5. Playing a fookin rigid 4 4 2 - most teams and certainly the top teams be they club or international will play a 4 5 1 or at very least 4 4 1 1 to win the mid field battle.
6. Robert Fucking Green

i thank you

What about Capello picking Green for the opening game ....... if he hadn't of done we'd probably have won it , finished top , and avoided Germany!

And not playing SWP. I know he did'nt have a great last few months with us, but he takes players on and adds an impetus to the attacking play. Also he wins lots of free kicks, which would have been useful again'st two dodgy Kraut central defenders today.

The key mistake for me was having £30 on these useless tossers! They hardly looked gutted at the end did they? Off on their Hols now.

No matter if he would of brought AJ there was no chance of him ever getting a start at the World Cup end of. Cole should of played left midfield for 1 of the games after the US game. It was calling out for the creative player and Cole is the only 1 who has some creative flair in the squad. Another mistake was trying to play Gerrard and Lampard in the same team in the big games they cant work together. Add to that bringing a player in King who has injuries problems and can only play 1 game a week no wonder the defence was ropey. Lescott if he was fit he should of been given the time to make the squad like he did with Barry. Bringing back Carragher who had the worst season he has had in the last 10 years was a huge fuck up. Not playing Dawson as others pointed out the only defender with some speed in the central area.
Being a outsider the first squad for the European championship will be worth a look to compare it to the World Cup squad I wonder how many of that squad will get into there squad for the Europeans. Also what new players will be added to the squad by the new manager or Capello.

Key mistakes...

1. The media building up our good players feeding their ego's
2. Our big stars being spoilt and handed everything on a plate
3.Lack of players wanting to play for the team and playing where and what the manager wanted them to do
4.Hiring a manager with NO national competitions expierience.
5.Taking a sqaud which has played together witha few changes and STILL producing the same crap everytime.
6.Mr and Mrs Heskey promoting their child to play football all them years ago (and mr and mrs johnson... Glenn obviously
7. No pride
8.No ideas
9.Fitness levels inferrior to bigger nations
10.No prolific international strikers ( as in more than the 1 we apparently have Wayne 'last seen in munich in march 2010 being called the white pele' Rooney

that is all
