Khaldoon comes to games (both home and away) and is in daily contact with GC and other key figures at the Club. He is a very active chairman (certainly more active than some of the other PL chairman) and considerably more visible than those at some clubs not too far away.
Even with a more visible chairman it's worth noting that it is in his and our owner's nature to let the City be the story not the chairman (if only all our owners/chairmen had acted like that!). He is happy not to make his presence known publicly because that could detract attention.
Khaldoon is a very astute businessman in his own right and is a very impressive chairman with his finger well and truly on the pulse.
He does inevitably have other high profile and successful businesses within his portfolio. Some may say that he can't devote as much attention to City as past chairmen but, to be frank, that's why GC and the Exec Leadership Team are there. Khaldoon directs as much (possibly more because of the nature of football) attention to the business/club as appropriate.
City are a true business now, not a hobby for a chairman who happens to be a publican, TV salesman, newspaper baron, industrial designer, estates manager, politician on the run... (we've had all of those, including several publicans, plus of course the Lee, Wardle, Bernstein chairmen).
The future is bright because of Khaldoon and his supporting personnel.
