Just watched a great vid on YouTube from the Nike academy at St George's park where he visited, to have a session and talk to somebody me young lads, he comes a crow as someone who would be great in the dressing room and he speaks English and Spanish. Must buy for me.

I disagree with the posts saying he's not world class seeing as he's played in last 2 world cups, winning one and third in the other, won a CL and recently a club world cup with Real Madrid.

But his injury problems are a serious issue and we need to find reliable talent.

It's not that - he was very good at one point but I think the repeat injury and time on the sidelines has made him less effective than before. Still on a free would be hard to turn down. Even coming off the bench he'd be better than Nando in most cases. But I think he's on his way back to Germany.

He is a good footballer, but I see him the way I see Arbeloa, who also played for Madrid and Spain- average player on a great squad.
