And fans third Paul ?

fans don t come into it oakie, we all have valid views and opinions and are respected by the club, but we are a small cog in a big wheel. lots of city fans have been against signings we have made, but the changes still came!

IMO for what its worth I can`t see him coming back and I would imagine his team mates could make life very uncomfortable for him.Would you go back knowing Vinnie and Nige would have you for a snack ?? ;)

oakie don t want to piss on anyones chips but the players don t hate him, aguerro wanted to play alongside him, and all the younger players respected him! the senior staff fully respect him! only the fans, press and management dislike him! kia hate him or not still has his greasy tentacles around players at our club! we need to look at the bigger picture

What an absolute crock of shit. Why should the players "hate" him. They will NOT respect him. That is the point. If you do not respect your team mate then it is wholly damaging to team morale and our chances of success. I dare say there have many instances throughout football history where a player has hated a team mate but has respected his ability and usefulness to the team. Hate and respect are fundamentally different in this situation.

I am convinced that there are many in our squad that have lost respect for this odious little twat.

i would certainly have him back, if both parties agreed..i support the club..end of!

i follow the glory that is manchester city fc..........in 20 years i will still be following my team when every player (and mgr) from the current timezone/team will have moved on.

so don t pull my ear over this one! its city first staff second!!
You ARE the club, mate. All the fans are, and nothing and no-one else. The only element of the club that never moves on is the fan, the fan IS the club (and comes first).

i didn t say you hated him pal, city fans in general!

Salford Paul

You know I love you (in a platonic Motherly way) but on this one we have to disagree.

If the Argentinian ever comes on to the pitch for City again that is the day I walk out!!

He has disrespected the club I love, he has disrespected the Manager, he has disrespected the squad and most of all he has disrespected the fans. The club bent over backwards to accomodate his demands; he was given the Captaincy, he was allowed to take his daughters on to the pitch as 'mascots' at every match, he put in a transfer request and they bowed down to him. I was there in Munich when he refused to play and his utterances and excuses since have been as pathetic as 'Arry and his dog's Swiss bank account!! Sorry Paul we are definitely at opposite ends on this one.

The contrast with the dignity that Vinnie Kompany shows, on and off the pitch, and the contempt this person has shown is marked.

Sorry Paul.

You said the players dont hate him, as if this was a consideration for him returning. This may or may not be true but is irrelevant. The issue is respect. If you seriously think those within our squad with a smidgen of moral fibre respect him then I think you are wrong. On the balance of probabilities I think I am correct as I think most, if maybe not all, of our squad do have respect for the club and fans.

I really cannot see Kompany going out with him for an aftermatch drink if he were to return.

You won't be alone. I would be utterly disgusted to see him ever pull a city shirt on again.

Thankfully he won't while Mancini is here, so I'm not too worried about having to walk out just yet.

can you imagine the reaction he'd get

that would be a 'were you there' day sort of like King Colins comeback except the polar opposite so not like it at all then...

were you there when that little fat **** got booed off the pitch?

It's not going to happen while Mancini is here, if anyone at the club insisted, he'd walk, if he had to walk over that, then I, and many thousands of others would also walk. I don't think our hierarchy are that out of touch to risk it. Khaldoon said all that was needed in that interview, the pressure is on Tevez and Kia to sort a deal out somewhere, the PL won't help them.

agreed..dug himself quite a hole hasn't he

the way out is easy enough....he'll have to take a financial hit....but of course that's the exact opposite of everything he's about so they still flounder about trying to force our hand via the medja and by using other bargain conscious deluded italian wankers...understandable I suppose as we have previous form but I think at last the line has been drawn in the sand now and deals like that will no longer be tolerated thank christ. we had to do it as it was a means to an end but the end of being contenders has been achieved already...

so he can please himself...do a deal and fuck off or rot a bit longer

whatever

his problem
