Just got home from a day out so missed the whole first half.

Could someone give a brief report on the first half please.

Much appreciated.

Only a few players sharp, the usuals like Kompany and Yaya. Rekik was composed, Lopes looked wise beyond his years, Biton a bit nervy. AJ and Scapuzzi had little influence. Tevez a bit overweight but active. Kolarov and Zaba looking to get fit. Costel not much to do.

That's about it, not too many chances. Two clubs looking for fitness.

Cheers pal, now i can eat my mince and rice with ease and enjoy the second half!

-- Fri Jul 13, 2012 7:07 pm --

Any thoughts on the new kit?

Mario Jelavic is one of the players warming up. The striker is on trial at City. Been training the last two days in Seefeld, Austria.

The bad thing is that you know Adam Johnson is giving it his all and still playing shite!

Not just me who thought he looks shit against a poor side?

Looks like he always does to me, pre-season or not. Just an average player who chips in with some nice goals.

Cheers for that, he was one of the few I didn't recognise in the Training Day videos on the OS.

Could somebody give a run down of the half-time subs?
