Kiddo looks very overwhelmed

he looks very much in control to me. being soft spoken does not mean he is not up to the task.

During the game last night, the Swedish commentator mentioned Kidd would be appointed to some significant role at the academy. Has this been mentioned somewhere?
I really hope that's the case.

Thinking a bit more this morning and maybe Kiddo has been our secret weapon of success. If Mancini has been as difficult as rumoured (and I believe we should avoid a character assassination on Bobby), then Kiddo's easy demeanour would have been essential for the players.

Definitely/absolutely should be offered a role with the club, but don't think he'll work with the new guy.

I don't think it's what Kidd said that was revealing, though I agree, he said all the right things in that "bloke next door" way of his, it was the look on his face. He looked tired, shocked and anxious, not for himself I think, but in a "How did it come to this?" Kind of way.
We'll never know what's been going on in the camp over the last few days, but by the look on Kidd's face, Mancini's departure and the loss of the FA Cup has had a profound and shocking effect on staff and players.
With all that, the team played well, admittedly it was only Reading, but some of the passing was sublime and the pace quickened.

I'm glad the club didn't do interviews with Sky tonight, and I hope this policy remains for the Norwich game and over the summer months.

you can just imagine the smarmy cunts trying to trip him up and catch him out whenever they can.

lets keep a low profile till the new manager is announced - we've managed to do so far over the last few days anyway

St Patrick's, Collyhurst lad, so knows how to look after himself. He looked visibly shocked and upset to me. As has been said many times, I really hope there is an important role available to him.

It's not only that MTR. It's the way they immediately jumped on the story. They were like a dog with a bone. Howmany other stories do they report largely on the basis in a shift in betting patterns...Chuff all I would suggest.
