City boys we are here,sh*g your women and drink yo
Nice to see a local lad as one of the management team once again.I think Brian Kidd was born in Collyhurst,a stones throw from Eastlands.
When he was at United in the late 60's he used to play golf at North Manchester Golf Club alongside Victoria Avenue East and also adjioning our school fields.Me and all my City pals used to give him loads of abuse about being a red bastard etc.
Jump forward 8/9 years and he's now at City and one of our heroes. We used to walk home from the pubs in Middleton, past his house on Kirkway,Alkrington, and now we,re outside his garden singing "Kiddo,Kiddo,Kiddo","Brian Kidd walks on water" etc,and kneeling down on the pavement doing worshipping gestures.(He probably wasn't home at the time but we weren't to know that.)
I attended a couple of Sportsman's dinners where he has been a guest and he is very shy and reserved, but he seems to be well respected by people in the game,so I think we have got ourselves a very experienced and knowledgeable assistant manager.

Top bloke. A teenage Blue idol of mine too and great to see him back with City.

But also a City hero, the last time we had a title challenging side in the mid/late 70's,long before Taggart was even heard of (unless you were an East Stirling fan).
Hopefully Kidd will help us to become a title challenging side again,30 years after he left us.

IMO, he'll be much better than Mark Bowen was. Kiddo knows the score, Bowen knew just Mark Hughes.

Wish Bowen well in his next assignment - he'll end up with a wad of City cash to soften the blow of being axed.

Kiddo can achieve 'legend' status with City as No 2.

Are we looking at the new 'Mercer-Allison' partnership here ?

Click here and look back through all of your posts. Are you proud of all of them? Is that a good representation of you?

All you have ever done, is call everything City shit, called all of our players and all of our management team. What kind of City fan CONSTANTLY posts about how shit we are and everything is?

Fuck me Damocles,I thought you were pointing out it was me that was not a true City fan for a few seconds.I was ready to go into orbit about how many games I,ve been to in the past 44 years etc.etc. and then I realised your remarks are aimed at Yozzer.
I can put the blood pressure tablets back in the cabinet now.
BTW someone with the user name Yozzer could be a scouser in disguise.
