I only like them in chilli and only ever used the tinned ones, wouldn't want to poison anyone by not boiling dried ones enough

Same here, and it has to be Napolina or a brand of the same quality (which I have yet to find on the shelves.)

I put chopped up peppers in my chilli. My daughter says this is 'so wrong'

Hmm, chilli it is tonight, just need a tin of lovely kidney beans and away we go.
Hot as you like and some sour cream to cool it down for Mrs Pie.

I would only ever eat them if they are in chili and even then I usually leave half of them in the bowl. Useless little things that leave their skins in your poo. Speaking of beans, I haven't seen a butter bean since I left England years ago. Did they even exist? Those things were disgusting.
