Ukraine is definitely Europe. Asia is already huge and Europe small, don't need to be casting countries off.

in my view teams from Russia and Ukraine shouldn't be allowed in European competitions at all as I don't consider them part of Europe

when I did geography they were in Asia

Everything west of the Ural mountains is (and always has been to my knowledge) considered as Europe, and this is why one "european" country (Khazakhstan) has a border with China, and the farthest away European away game we could get drawn in (though its very unlikely) is only 80miles from the Chinese border.
