I'm 67 now and seen them both. Could not, would not, want to pick a winner. Why would you?
I bet Bernardo runs twice the distanceNijinsky for a reason
I reckon if you play alongside Haaland, Kev, Dias, Rodders, Bernardo etc you know they've got your back. Great players and great professionals. We'll never know, but I'd rather have Bell, Lee, and Summerbee alongside me in a battle than any of our current players.
Real men playing real football on natural surfaces.
Yaya definitely doesn't get the respect he deserves. He literally dragged us to the Premier League win on 11/12Never saw Colin the king so for me I have no answer but in terms on the past 15 plus years.
1. Merlin
2. KDB
3. Sergio
Yaya was my 4th pal. Then Jamie Pollock..:-)Yaya definitely doesn't get the respect he deserves. He literally dragged us to the Premier League win on 11/12
All jokes aside I really liked Pollock. Came in when no one gave a crap and he used to run from the main stand over to the Kippax at the start of the game waving his arms getting the fans going. Id not seen any passion in years so it was great to see. Not the best player but did a jobYaya was my 4th pal. Then Jamie Pollock..:-)
It was the equivalent of the Eddie McGoldrick fist pump. If your shit pretend you give a fck and get the fans on your sideAll jokes aside I really liked Pollock. I don't think anyone could doubt Pollock gave 100% every time he played for us. He just wasn't very good unfortunately. It was the equivalent of the Eddie McGoldrick fist pump. If your shit pretend you give a fck and get the fans on your side
I don’t think it’s fair to compare or judge the two players based mainly on trophies. If Colin bell was in a similar side to Kev he probably would have won as many. With respect, and I knew Colin Bell growing up as his son went to my school and he was pals with my dad, Bell was a top class English midfielder who won one league title and the FA cup, as well as the second tier european trophy. He played 48 times for England and played in one world cup. comparatively he was akin to Joe Cole.
De Bruyne is a treble winning Balon Dor nominee who is now regarded as the best midfielder in 30 years of the english top flight at a time when its the number one league in the world, and also has led his international team to world cup semi finals scoring outrageous goal to knock out brazil in the process. Hes won 6 titles, 2 possibly soon to be 3 fa cups, the european cup, and holds the record for assists in a season and has 2 pfa player of the year and 2 runners up.
there is really no comparison. both have been amazing leaders for city, but the teams were at vastly different levels in terms of their world status.
