Kinkladze Speaks..

Harsh on Lescott, Gio, but I know what you mean. If there were two areas we could be stronger it would be alongside De Jong, and alongside Vinny. I also agree that two world class players there could make us champions league winners.

What I don't agree is that Lescott makes us weaker than United. He's a good player and offers plenty.

I'd prefer Kinkladze to keep quiet - and keep away!

Lescott has been improving snce he came back into the side last season, and has been stated on here we'd have lost already this season if it wasn't for him.

Kinkladze for me is as overrated as the "Maine Road atmosphere".

(Gets tin hat on...)

Kinkladze really said we need a defender in the Terry Butcher mould, then we would eat Barcelona for breakfast??! Nah I'm not having it.

Perhaps his northern English has come on considerably since he left?

Ha ha. Exactly, by eck!

What's more likely is the interviewer said:

"hello Mr Kinkladze, would you be able to give us a quick interview on City's current team?"

GK: I'm sorry, I'm busy at the moment, I'm just on holiday in Barcelona and I'm about to eat some breakfast. I'll give you a call back later after I've been to the butchers to get something for my tea. Oh and I need a jelly mould for my dessert. I love jelly me.

To be fair , Lescott has been better than Kompany so far this season.
Form is temporary, class is permanent.

How do you differentiate between 'form' and 'class'? For all we know, Kompany never had 'class' and was only in good 'form' last season and Lescott always had 'class' but is in good 'form' only every now and then.
