Any goal against the scum is priceless but the goal against the scum at OT on the 50th was so sweet!

But more so was our fans reputation on that day - god it made me proud to be a blue!
That's the best game of football I've been to. I was, err, elsewhere in the stadium (keeping something of a low profile) and the singing from the visitors end was amazing: it dominated the sound through the whole game.

I took my lad around CoMS the next day and the kid that did the tour could hardly talk from singing the day before.

I saw a guy with a CITY IMPECCABLE t-shirt on the other day - that refers to the tannoy announcement after that game, right?

Fergie was right...

the best goal i have ever seen by a city player against southampton at maine road, beat six or seven men on his own from our box, pure class , deserved better players around him, kinky is a legend

Was sat in the main stand just were he started his run from...i still remember looking at my mate with a expession of disbelieve on our faces and saying "did i just see that"

He was the best dribbler of the ball to ever play in the Premier League, a pleasure to watch.

Biginoil - impeccable was the word - indeed - could u say the same about the scum when they play liverpool with the hilsboro anniversary loomin? I doubt it I really do...

Suppose we'll just have to wait and see. I assume that in the interests of fairness the press will whip up a total shitstorm before the game, then not bother mentioning it when the fans disappoint them by acting... impeccably.

There was big cheer from the Reds for the One Frank Swift song. There were loads of other times when the songs got appreciative nods and little smiles. Time for Your Sandwiches got a laugh and Fergie Was Right... (the high point of the whole game for me) got a lot of people talking. Me and my Dad were laughing our heads off. It was too late to pretend to be undercover anyway - we'd given ourselves away at least twice by then ;)

Pure magic.
