Was just thinking how the little fella would fit into the current team.could we find a way of acommodating him and Stevie Ireland?he did play in some shit City teams and was eventually shipped out because he didn't fit into Royle's dogs of war plan.Shame really.

I thought he was shipped out because we got relegated to the 3rd tier of English football and Ajax offered £5M for him. Loved Kinkladze but that season we dropped into the 3rd the amount of times we played poor sides (Bury, Huddersfield, Tranmere, etc) who just double marked him out of the game left me feeling we couldn't afford to play him in a struggling side.

He wouldnt get close mate, leave it in the memory banks.

We needed the money has him and few a few others got relegated twice.

He would be behind Petrov and Robinho for the wide left position, or behind SWP and Elano on the right.

Kinkladze would easily fit in this team. And be one of the star players,no question.

i thought kinkladze was vastly overrated.a very, very skillful player without a doubt.there is absolutely no way he would get in our team now,if he was at his very best.

Vastly overrated ? Most skillful player ever to wear a City Shirt , At is best position, playing off the front man , no one could touch him in are present team.

Cherred me up on Saturday whilst watching the following Immel , Captain Kit , Buster ( the next 10 million pound player ) , Clough , Frontzek , Creaney ( Season Later ) and the rest of the shit that I cant remember

The above where laughable put him, when he was at is best , no one could get near me

KINKLADZE LEGEND

Absolute rubbish.

Kinkladze was a ball playing genius playing in for the most part,a shite team.

Tranny,Eto,Robinho and Messi would struggle playing alongside "giants" of the game like Kit Symons and Eddie McGoldrick every week...not to mention having the living shit kicked out of him by players who weren't fit to tie his shoes.

If he was playing for us today and scoring goals like the ones against Southampton(still one of the best top flight goals ever seen at Maine road or anywhere else)and West Ham he would be an absolute media sensation.
The only current player I see in the PL who has the same type of unnering accuracy and control in front of goal is Torres.

Kinkladze would be a world superstar in the City team of today.

The best player on his day to play in the famous shirt.I say on his day because for probably 70% of the games i saw live he was as useful as a hairnet for duncan goodhew.

Still my all time favourite player though.
