Kjetil Haug (15), the Manchester City player from the summer of 2014. It has these days become clear with a three to five year contract.

- I can confirm that the club as Kjetil going to play for Manchester City, and he travels over 1 July next year, says father and adviser Cato Haug.

After that sa.no experience, the youngster already signed the papers, which links him to the club over the next few years. He should also have been through the medical test in the club and it was no problem for the 08-keeper.

It is also confirmed that young Haug move over to Manchester 1 July. He plays spring season for Sarpsborg 08, before it gets City for all the money.

Sarpsborg 08 has since sa.no experience also agreed with Manchester City on the transition to the goalkeeper.

The transfer fee is currently unknown.

HA has also been in touch with Simon Heggie, press manager of Manchester City. He commented on the

- We pick talents from all over the world, and in the interests of the players, our policy is not to comment on transitions for such young players, he said.

- HA know Kjetil Haug has signed a contract with the City?

- Yes, it makes you sure, and I will not deny anything. Absolutely not. Kjetil is a great player, we have followed and follows closely, he says.

Kjetil Haug: Meet the Norwegian Starlet Wanted by Arsenal, United and City
Kjetil Haug is a young man very much in demand. The Norwegian goalkeeper has already completed trials with Manchester United, Everton and Manchester City, and is next scheduled for a brief stint in north London with Arsenal.

The 15 year old currently represents Norwegian top flight side Sarpsborg 08 who are managed by former Sheffield United and Leeds United striker Brian Deane who is clearly aware of the talent youngster possesses.

He has already drawn comparisons to Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel and his father, a former goalkeeper himself, has admitted that there are several Premier League clubs interested in securing his signature.

Despite his young age he is already a commanding figure between the posts at 6ft 2" and weighing around 80kg. This physical presence has led to the comparisons with Schmeichel, something that Haug still finds rather astonishing.

"It's strange to be compared with one of the best ever goalkeepers. But it is of course great and I am really honoured. He is one of my biggest role models," Huag told Norwegian publication TV2.

"I'll be careful not to say too much about the similarities between us, but there are some. I have a physical style to my play as did Schmeichel. But there is obviously a long way to go before I get on his level."

Two weeks ago Haug was on trial at Manchester United where he trained and played one game for the Under-18 side, whilst also meeting a number of first team stars and manager David Moyes.

Despite speaking with the United boss there was one person who made an even bigger impression on the teenage goalkeeper in Danish stopper Anders Lindegaard.

"I talked a lot with Anders Lindegaard," added Haug. "He gave me lots of good advice about a possible transfer. It was very interesting and helpful.

"We also had lunch with several other United players and David Moyes. Moyes sat down next to me. It was very fun.

"It was very special to be on trial at United since I am supporter myself. United is in that respect very well received when I decide on my future. But that they are closest to my heart does nothing."

Having already completed a trial with Manchester United, their local rivals Manchester City and Everton, Haug already has plenty of options. But later this year he will spend some time with Arsenal who will also undoubtedly be interested in signing the young goalkeeper.

Haug admits that it is his "dream" to play in the Premier League and he feels he is ready to make the move to England. He is likely to make a decision just before Christmas and his dad revealed that Arsenal would be one of the clubs coming under consideration.

"We have have Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Everton and Sarpsborg 08 on a list and write pluses and minuses next to their names. It's pretty surreal. Arsenal has no pluses or minuses yet, since we have not been there. But they are still an option," explained Cato Haug.

The young goalkeeper is certainly in an enviable situation with some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League chasing his signature. Now the decision rests with on his own broad shoulders.

Seems like this is his Twitter:

Fantastic to see so many great talents joining us! Wonder if he'll go straight to the U18?

I like the fact that he had lunch with David Moyes and was immediately inspired to sign for his biggest rival.

I mean... I don't hate the lad for being naive. I just hope he sees the light.

He's undoubtedly grown up watching the premier league,in which time the Rags have mostly been at the pinnacle,i'd imagine he also worships Schmeichel..... its little surprise his 'support' currently lies with them.

We seem to have had a "thing" for Scandinavian GKs in the last 10 years...

Hope the kid does well here.
