KK on sky, delighted if we get 4th..

No doubt he made same awful mistakes but let's remember KK for the best attacking football we saw for a generation.

love the guy to bits but his hands certainly weren't tied he bought a lot of shite players on big wages which came very close to destroying us but I'll never forget that promotion season and for bringing us Ali B.

Hence they were tied near the end to take us further..!

He tied his own hands with the signings of McPointer, Fowler, and F**king Mills (has he gone yet) none of them were up to the job, just has beens, and cost us a bloody fortune in wages.

His promotion season was the best season I have ever had watching City, but his final season (most of it) was bloody awful, losing at Oldham, then there was a home defeat (can't remember who it was Bolton ?) when he'd clearly lost the plot (dressing room).

Like the guy, nice to hear him praise us, but his hads were only tied by himself, and he very nearly broke the club for good. It was Pearce who's hands were tied by KK.

-- Tue Mar 30, 2010 8:25 am --

And the signing of the legend that is Sun Jihai

Pound for pound that was one of his best signings.

Always had a soft spot for KK, didn't like to see it all go wrong for him at Newcastle, he gave us some great football and brought some top players to the club. Anelka, Berkovic & Benarbia all played sublime football at the time.

Jesus, just imagining him with the money we've got... It's fucking hilarious. I think we should get him to join up here and appoint him as Optimism Generator until the end of the season.

Top bloke. I remember he came to my secondary school for a charity event back in... Must be '97 now. He had a kickabout with all the teams, we were all scared shitless of him aha.

Keegan with this amount of money to spend..... Thank god that will never happen in a million years, some of his signings were just laughable. One of the reasons he left is because the board stood up to him, and told him there would be no money to spend, he wanted to buy some Canadian striker. Eh?

He's a top man Kev

Was great at Scunny in the cup when you could see him in the corner of the ground watching the game as a pundit and evryone was shouting his name
