Neither here nor there!
No Klopp and it is very easy to see how Liverpool would still be drifting. Getting it right is very hard, we see first hand the evolution in our tactics almost by the game.

Utd are currently useless and Spurs will not spend to let Poch have a real crack. Chelsea are up, down, left, right with little sign Sarri will get the control he needs to form his ideal squad. Arsenal are Arsenal so where else was the challenge for Guardiola? I do not think he would just leave but Klopp i feel is giving the challenge Pep thrives on?

Klopp v Guardiola could be the finest era of league football ever seen. They both respect each other and both push each other. I do feel Poch could possibly push harder given the funds? He also plays in the same spirit if currently not the same technical level as ourselves.

The premiership is the ideal platform for the world best to ply their trade. I for one would be very worried if the managers to push Pep were not here. His drug is the fight, you can see it clear as day, he say's as much often.

So as much as i can't stand Liverpool i am glad they have given him a platform to give Pep a reason to get up in the morning.

What other managers would you like to see in the Prem? Will Arsenal and Chelsea get their act together or is it Klopp v Guardiola for the next 5 or so years?

If the dippers dont win anything over this season or next i can't see klopp being there.

Would love to see Ten Hag in the Premiership. What he’s doing at Ajax is incredible.

As for Klopp, liked him at Dortmund but we’d obviously not seen the excuses or acting up for the cameras. Can’t take anything away from what he’s done though.

Done what bacon face did with the rags in his first years. Substantially improved a large underachieving club
The issue for Klipperty is that Pep's in the Prem with the greatest team in Premier league history

I doubt Pep needs motivation from any other mananger to strive to win.

As for klopp, 22 points gained this year through offside goals for his team, you could argue this seasons points tally won't be repeated next year.

And unless he does win the league and overhaul last night, his achievements here are no better than Andre villas-boas

Ferguson achieved nothing at the Rags until he was allowed to spend fortunes.

I think Pep would prefer more of a chance to focus on the CL(it's obvious it's the top prize for him) than too many seasons like this one.

Although this season Liverpool have done very well to push City all the way, I think they have massively overachieved and I expect them to drop off next season, unless they spend a shedload(again) and revamp their midfield.

I also reckon he has a little bit more respect for Pochettinho's philosophy, in pure football terms, over Klopp and in general thinks highly of a lot of the top 6 rather than it all being about Klopp or Liverpool.

Liverpool's best ever Premier League season
Champions League final
Champions League semi-final*
Europa League final and League Cup final in his first season
Comfortably the second best squad in the PL with young players on long term contracts
Has the full backing of the fans and the top management.

Sign a creative playmaker and they are good to challenge for a few seasons atleast.

Yes, I agree. What they don't have is strength in depth. Injury to either wing back, CB, or front three for a few months could derail their title hopes. And the more competitive you are in more competitions, the greater strength in depth your squad needs.

I hope Klopp and his team continues to get better and more competitive, I want them to shine and to dazzle, to impress and to put fear into their opponents.

And I will enjoy them still not being able to beat us, cause no matter how much better they become, we will still be too much for them, and hopefully we will have won the league already in March.

The quadruple next season is ON, and I would absolutely love to see Liverpool as the constant runner up.

Klopp is a fine manager, even though I can't stand him. Has improved Liverpool massively and any other season they'd have won the league by a landslide. It's just that our consistency levels have been outstanding yet again this season.

It's our year ;-)

Signing a KdB like will be huge improvement for them, someone who can create and score. I'm surprised they are not in for the Bruno guy from Sporting we're after.

I do think Pep will relish the fight with Klopp and if LFC do win the premier this year I think Pep will be staying longer term at City just because he wont like being beat by Klopp. Personally I also think we needed this season to be difficult, it has made men of our boys, has raisd the profile of our club and shown everyone we're not just quality players but fighters and battlers who never give up.
