So outraged they wrote to the Daily Mail and they were outraged on her behalf so they wrote a headline.
And out of obscurity and on the back of a Glastonbury that few watched, a band got the attention and publicity that you used to get when you were arrested for possession of cannabis in Japan.

The cops are the law and they failed.
The CPS are the law and they well and truly fucked up.
The Attorney General is the law and he made himself look like an idiot
Finally magistrates who are the law but independent of the Circus said enough is enough.
Fortunately we have not reached the kind of justice they have in trumpland, our court system is still independent

The only thing to add is that kneecap live and breathe for this stuff. I like their music, the film is great, but they court controversy on purpose and every time the right wing rags bite they must laugh all the way to the bank.

I paid £15 to see them a year and a half ago, (actually couldn’t make the gig sadly) now it’s £40 a ticket.

I'm putting this in here but it could go in 3 other threads.
At least 2 women who are members of Palestine Action are still on remand for alleged criminal acts. They have been on remand for over 12 months. At that time Palestine Action was not a proscribed Terrorist Group.
Recently one was removed from her job in the prison library and had her scarf, that she knitted whilst in custody taken from her. (It was knitted using red, black, white and green) The reason given, supporters of terrorist organisations are not allowed to work in the library and the scarf is in the Palestinian colours !
The second woman was sent a kiffiyeh which apparently is now a terrorist symbol.

This country is sliding towards a very dark place. (And this is Labour, wait till Farage gets in)
