Kobbie Mainoo

What’s the point in our academy if we sign him? We have better academy players and we’ve produced better as well
 
Must admit, felt like he was the real deal last season. Fallen off a cliff this year, pep could probably work his magic with him but we need physicality and an engine, he's potentially got the engine but not the physicality, we've got enough weak midgets in the squad thanks.

I'd still table a bid just shy of insulting just to stir things up though. anybody playing for that shower hearing whispers we might be interested is likely going to fancy itand might start causing more trouble.
 
Mainoo is a funny one as he looked very good last year and slow and average this year. I wouldn't be against it as Pep could work wonders with him.

I've always been impressed with that Mazzaroui(?) when I've seen him, I think he's a decent player.

Too slow, especially for a young man. He's also got no positional awareness, although that could be learned with experience.

He's one of the huge reasons the rags midfield is so easy to play through, because of his positional awareness. That's the last thing we need when we're also having those problems right now.

Not a bad player at all, but more likely to be a Kalvin Phillips than a top midfielder in my opinion
 
If we're entertaining craziness..

I'd like to say I'd rather get McTominay in than him. He's 6 foot 4 and he's currently in the team that's top of Serie A.

But everyone knows that's a non starter since City and Napoli do not do deals.. EVER!
 
Pep and co. don't go for players just on skill and ability.

They also go for temperament, their attitude, their demeanor when not being picked.

A kid turning down a pay rise doesn't strike me as the kind of player Pep and the club will be after.
 
Reminds me of Fabian Delph.
Maybe just maybe we might buy him for cover in in the LB position
 
This sounds like Ilaix Moriba.. times ten, kid is ruining his career (start) if he does these antics.
accordingly I dont believe the numbers.
 
Is he good or did he look good in a 6 month spell for that bang average team like Januzaj etc? Helps to look good when you’ve got the whole media foaming at the mouth saying he’s the next Bobby Charlton.
