When the phone turns on go into settings and about phone, it should say android version somewhere followed by a few numbers like 4.4.4 or 5.1 mate :)

Hope someone on here can help me.Instead of getting an Amazon firestick.could I get kodi on an old android phone.put the blue moon thing on it then connect it to my tv with the correct leads ?

Yup 256 mb ram wouldn't run Kodi well at all mate, do you have a laptop you could try it on? :)

Yes mate, you need a micro USB to hdmi lead, fairly cheap to get hold of, here you go:

What android phone do you have as a matter of interest mate, I'm not sure it works on all of them :)

I watch it on my s5 works brilliant.
Probably better than my box
