Kodi (Bluemoon Build)

I use the ZGemma star 2S as my main receiver, can't fault it, and for streaming as a backup the firestick with agueeeeeeros BM build installed.
Gemma cost me £150 installed inc 12mth gift.
Firestick =£35.

Arguably the best setup you can have, you've not got one but two sources then; if you can't fit a dish for whatever reason though then the zgemma is useless :)

Aerials are a no go reception for aerials in my area are ridiculous :(, nvidia shield and the fire tv 4K seem ideal from what I've read the shield is the more powerful of the two? , final question which one is easiest to set up and use :)

I dipped my toe in with a £35 fire stick. It works but I'd invest more if buying again. I imagine it is the stream not the device that determins quality most of the time but you might as well go for the best option first time round![/QUOTE

The nvidia is probably easier to setup as it has the play store on it; but the expense is the problem, close to £150 I believe for the shield :)

Is the extra cash worth it or will the fire 4K do pretty much the same bar a bit more complex ?

I honestly can't say for sure mate; personally i think if all you're going to be using it for is the bluemoon build then the fire TV 4k is more than enough, my first gen fire TV runs the build absolutely fine and the 4k TV is much more powerful

If you would be using it for gaming and playing local 4k content then the shield is the best option :)

Fire 4K , it's just for streaming the football maybe some films got ps4 for gaming mate , Mrs sister works in Currys so get a bit discount off it as well so happy days il give you a shout if I run into any technical problems ;)

Uninstall Kodi and then install it from the play store mate, this will make sure you have the latest version of Kodi; one you've done that let me know :)

Follow the YouTube tutorial that I posted on the first page of the thread for installing the build; you can ignore the fresh start bit mate as you're already on a clean installation of Kodi mate :)

Seemed to have a mare last night, almost nothing was working.

I'd updated to bm 3 a couple of days ago and all seemed well but ended up on mobdro on my phone as no links for the game would work. Castaway seemed to be completely down as well.

If others got links I may wipe and reinstall later in the week.

Did anyone else struggle last night? Most of the bt streams were buffering every few seconds on mine. Found one on Zim tv that was about a minute behind that worked ok in the end.
