I've just managed to install the Bluemoon Build on my un-jailbroken iPad. Channels tested and working.

It won last long you might get a week out of it before it wont open, unless your paying around £15 a year from someone like ipawind

I've installed kodi with directions from this video works great only problem is you have to install it the same way weekly because it gets unsigned.

Yes it is similar. I have a subscription, but at less than £9 for a year, it will be good value if it works. Plus there are many other apps available too. For the other apps which I have had installed for longer, there have been no issues.

Well if your paying yearly it should be fine. I paid yearly for ipawind but once I got a new phone I didnt bother with it.

just bought a V9S Openbox which included a gift ;-). Anyone tried one of these ??
Never had/used a V9S, in fact openbox S11 was the only openbox i ever owned.

If it's anything like the ones i have come across they are an Ok Budget box, the early ones had flakey tuners or flakey clones, as times gone on a lot of peeps have them so they have got better so i'm told.

personally I'd prefer an enigma based OS but if you just want a bog standard easy to learn box they are better

Hi Chaps, I have a pal who has a preloaded M5 with KODI box but wants to do a fresh start and then load SPMC & then the BM build.
What is his best way to achieve with minimum fuss ?

Download SPMC via the internet browser. Go into settings on front screen (main menu) / apps / Kodi and de-install.
Then click on SPMC apk in the download folder in file manager and follow instructions to install.
Making sure to click the NEW installation button, when required.
Then load BM build as you would in Kodi. ie through file manager.

Third party apps aren't great on the iPad mate, apple usually has that sort of stuff locked down; there was a method a page or 2 back posted by waspish showing how to get Kodi on the iPad mind :)

Cheers fella bought a chromecast as I only want city matches or the odd film as I have sky but the bloody thing won't pair with my galaxy s6, it works fine on the iPad though.

Ok. For those of you with an iPad or an iPhone, and would like to try the Bluemoon build on Kodi, I've attempted a step-by-step guide. This works on standard devices, which do not need to be jail-broken.

1. You will need a third party app installer. Open Safari and load up build.io, iOSEm.us, or tutuapp.com or similar. I have used build.io, where there is an annual subscription of $9.99 (less than £9). You might find one of these for free, but the subscription is good value.

2. Find the Kodi app and click Install, Run, then confirm Install.

3. Open Kodi after it has downloaded.

4. Click the settings icon, middle of three on the bottom right.

5. Click Appearance, Skins, select Confluence and confirm Yes.

6. Click the Home icon, bottom right. Scroll the bar to highlight System, then click File Manager below.

7. On the left side of file manager click Add Source. Type http://bluemoonwizard.site88.net/ as the file path and a title such as Bluemoon Build. Click OK to confirm.

8. Click Home icon again, then System, Add-ons, Install from zip file. Select the name of the repo just created. Click OK on the right to confirm.

9. You will have to hard close Kodi to complete the installation, and the Bluemoon Build will be ready when you open it up again.

10. Once complete, you can change back to the original skin if required.

It's a pretty tricky process, but well worthwhile.
