IPTV is the easiest, built into your tv already just need a good supplier which I have, never fails and top quality full HD, amazing, I know you can get it cheaper but i’m happy at £27 for three months and no hassle.

Android box is near enough the same as using an android phone but on a bigger scale, kodi needs some maintenance for addons etc but if you used kodi purely for an iptv service then it's just a case of plug n play, but most iptv providers these days use apks as well that require no messing apart from initial set up but they give you detailed instructions on how to

The way to go is the Nvidia Shield...

Nvidia SHIELD TV with Remote https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075TBK232/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_F4SvBbDEVNRRQ

Quite a bit more than the others but gives a silky smooth experience due to its processing power. As @Pleatfooted said @TCIB is the one who is best versed on these matters.
Overkill purely for iptv /kodi mate especially for a newbie, but yep the best money can buy, but saying that if you can afford it then why not haha

It's very good, prefer the firetv myself, but if you have both you can use Amazon's remote with it and ditch nvidia's pos that needs charging every few days.
