Kodi/SPMC

Hi guys. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to all this stuff so need some advice please.

My Amazon Fire TV box has recently packed up so I am looking to replace it. I only really used it for watching movies and tv series on Kodi.

Should I buy another Fire TV box or is there an alternative out there which is better? Don't really want to spend more than £70 If possible.

It would be connected via Ethernet cable to my Virgin broadband router

The Fire TV box no longer has a Ethernet connection.

That new fire tv box is the biggest pieces of shit you don’t ever use! It’s like they gone back in time with the last 2 boxes they’ve released! the amazon tv box was brilliant with microsd options the fire tv box 2 was ok but for me wasn’t as good as the first one.

Once people started buying them to use with 3rd party content providers and not use Prime i assume they had to make a trade off without the continued revenue of sub based content

You can used it like the original leaving out microsd and ethernet option was a step backwards.
 
Setup a Beeline GT1 today after seeing recommend on here. Thanks for the advice.
It took 3+ weeks to arrive but it seems a good little device if anyone else is also looking for a new android box.
I've just put Kodi with Real Debrid on it so far and it loads and plays movies nicely. E.g tried a 1080 copy of Deadpool and it played perfectly. I couldn't play similar size movies at all with firestick previously.
 
Q re setting up IPTV on android box I've bought.

Is it best done via Kodi or via installing an IPTV app?
I've been reading up and seen people talking about IPTV app such as Smart IPTV and Perfect Player. Anyone got a recommendation?

Obv I'll need to find a provider as well, but just wondered re how best to actually set it up on the box

Do both if they accommodate both which most do, iptv smarters Pro best apk, perfect player is stone age :p
 
I have a FireStick . What are the best apps to watch live prem football?? Had a quick trawl through this thread but couldn’t find anything . I used to watch them on modbro before they shut down the servers during the games. TIA
