As I put on here the other day, I was looking for a new addon now that Placenta and Neptune Rising have died. Had them both ages.

I thought Magic Dragon seems to be popular after googling.

So I had to add that Supremacy Repo, clicked on Magic Dragon but it wouldn't let me add it. Said it failed. So i now have no addon for films at all. Fiddle Sticks.

Had a good look through Gotham and it's not bad at all for debrid or non debrid users, uses 10 updated elysium scrapers, with more content to come. Much quicker than the underdog as well which was slower than a tax rebate
 
Need some tech help

I use Kodi on my Xbox and it's version 18.0 Liea beta and PVR simple client has disappeared. It's no longer on the PVR list. Obviously this is a big deal so does anyone know what has happened or if I can manually put it on it or is there an alternative?

Mine definitely still has it. Would suggest a quick reinstall just in case it has become disabled. With it still being a Beta it can do some funny things at times. I had a problem with it losing sound but that was fixed with a reinstall.

Yeah tried that,still didn't work. It is in beta so may be glitching. I'll try again later

After saying it was working fine, fired it up this morning, it downloaded an update to Kodi and the PVR client has gone.

Just had a look on the Kodi forums and it looks like someone has ballsed up the latest beta. Think all we can do is wait for another beta update.

Reading into the PVR issue on Xbox a little more, it looks like they are no longer baking in certain functionality like PVR but instead allowing it to be updated as a separate binary. This will allow them to fix issues with the PVR without updating the Kodi build.
They have had some problems doing this on Xbox but they are working on a fix.

Ok thanks for the info. Guess we'll have to wait. It gets updated pretty often so it shouldn't be too long hopefully
 
Hello All, I have a shieldtv with Kodi 17.6 running.
when I start up watching livetv or series stream it freezes the picture but the sound continues. None of the remote actions work except the home button, which takes me out of Kodi but not a proper exit, I then go back in and then all seems to be fine.

Has anyone else suffered this?

I think it is a kodi issue rather than a shield one as that works fine for everything else.

I have the latest update for shield installed but kodi was doing this before the update.
A fresh install is an option but just wanted to know of anyone else's experiences first.

I had wonderbox 18.0 a few weeks ago when it claimed an update and referred me to kodi.
I downloaded the kodi beta because wonderbox has suddenly disappeared and have got a very similar to wonderbox kodi which contains the pvr simple we all use.
Configured it to my iptv and great.

I had various problems with 17.6 which stopped when using wonderbox.see my previous post regarding its availability.
Having tried the stable beta onkodi I recommend it.
