Worth a try?

I'd give it a try because his crosses seem to be the best in the squad and having both he and someone like PabZab on the left might sure up the defensive side a bit more. I doubt Kolarov will beat anyone with pace but has shown he can deliver plenty of crosses and his corners are far better than anyone else's.

I can't quite make my mind up on Kolarov.

He's a clumsy defender, that often gets skinned, even by your average winger - Bentley, Routledge etc. He always does the same trick when attacking, which rarely comes off. His left foot is a great weapon though.

could work. Would offer width, which apparently were lacking without Jonson. Worth a go in the cup game against Notts i guess.

Most definately the main problem with the way we play at the min is the lack of width. Kolarov could be the answer to this problem with the way he bombs forward and can unleash missiles when he cuts inside.

I say put Zab behind him who can also overlap and use a 4-4-2 formation in the next game. It should certainly shuffle up their game plan as it wouldn't be expected.

He has the makings of a left winger and certainly has the delivery and shooting ability to do so . Defensively he is suspect , and I think he could be effective going forward . But if you take him away fro left back I don't think we get a decent attacking option from that position . He is a potent threat wherever he plays and I think we should see him out til the end of the year as left back then decide come summer to change him or not . If he played left wing he certainly could provide the width we are crying out for to feed dzeko .

no. Less than 15 league appearances but already one of the best LB's in the country.
