Yet another top signing if we get him. Would be great to get him in today. I work nxt to a liverpool fan who is still pissed off we bought Silva yesterday after saying for weeks he would never move to us, and is annoyed Yaya is moving to us, this will send him over the edge. God knows what will happen if we got Torres!!

Rumour has it that the samaritans are taking on extra staff in liverpool this month.

I think he would cost more like 20 million euros + TBH world class left backs are at a premium and Lazios Director says he wants 25 million euros for him.

Is that all?

That's like £18 million I think. The same as JO and De Jong.

Peanuts. ;)

(He's not coming btw)

Lazio President Claudio Lotito Denies Reports Of Aleksandar Kolarov Move To Manchester City

Manchester City's hopes of signing Aleksandar Kolarov have taken a knock after Lazio president Claudio Lotito denied reports the Premier League side had agreed personal terms with the player.

His response comes just hours after Il Corriere dello Sport opened the window, claiming Kolarov had agreed personal terms with the Citizens, and they would pay the Italians €18 million after holding talks with Lotito.

However, Lotito has spoken out and has rubbished the reports, claiming City have not reached the gateway to trade for the Serbia international.

"City? I don't think so. It's all totally false. All the news published about this is not true," Lotito told the press.

"The interest should be based on correct facts. Real Madrid? I repeat, we have not received any offers."

They know they will get it as well with Real, possibly city interested in him. Hes also been linked with Chelski if they sell cashley cole to Real.

I think for 25 million euros Morinho prefers cashley he wants to keep one foot int he english game now.

Excuse my ignorance, i thought we got rid of TBH, he certainly aint a world class LB.

Didn't Valenica say they had recieved no offers then later that day said City can hold Silva talks? Or was it the day after? Maybe its similiar Lazio may of let City talk with Kolarov to see if hes interested. If City are close to Lazio's asking price.
