Its good news but our left backs aren't a patch on our right.The position is still very much a weak spot against the European elite.

I love zaba for his work ethic and everything but I actually think in terms of contribution to the result Kolarov tends to beat him.

His crosses reliably make goals.

Against teams that allow him the opportunity he's a weapon,when he's on the backfoot,which isn't that often..... he isn't so effective imo,as both his defending and pace are very average.

His character is also top notch so a great option to have though.

Really good statement getting Alex to sign for another 3 years because Dzeko will follow and Hart to, and hopefully that should convince James to commit to so all looking good for the new season
